Carol’s lifelong passion for horses is evident in her diverse experience. She is a British Horse Society assistant instructor with a diploma in Equine facilitated Learning. Her professional journey includes managing yards at professional Eventing Yards, tutoring children and pony club members, and attending courses in Natural Horsemanship. Carol’s commitment to the equestrian community is further demonstrated by her role as a co-founder and director of Horses4life. In her leisure time, she enjoys walking the dogs on Dartmoor and riding the horses.
Chris is one of Devon’s leading hypnotherapists. He holds a senior qualification in hypnotherapy practice (SQHP), an advanced diploma in hypnotherapy, is an NLP practitioner, and is a qualified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) with hypnotherapy practitioner, as well as a BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy). He is also our senior equine-assisted psychotherapist, specialising in trauma, mental health problems, and PTSD. Chris is the co-founder and director of Horses4life and enjoys playing football and woodturning.
Marie-Louise is a seasoned professional with a level 3 qualification in adult and child health and social care, specialising in learning difficulties. Her diploma modules further demonstrate her expertise in early years education and her role as a qualified out-of-school activities facilitator. With 25 years of experience in education, she has been instrumental in supporting holiday programs, alternative education for non-school attendees, and community health and social care.
In her free time, she volunteers as a parent support facilitator for families with children with mental health issues and is completing a nursing diploma. She enjoys spending time with her two Dartmoor ponies and her children in the great outdoors.
